The IMC Chairman of Obowo Local Government Area in Imo State, Hon Sir CC Ihejirika, has raised alarm over threat to his life by a prominent Morally bankrupt female politician in the Local Government Lady Love Ineh.
The IMC Chairman disclosed that Lady Love Ineh told him to go to a shrine to swear loyalty to her which but he refused, stating that his loyalty is only to Gov. Hope Uzodinma. He also said that Lady Love told him to be remitting N100,000 monthly from his salary to her, and N50,000 from all the councillors.
The IMC Chairman stated that Lady Love Ineh collected N500,000 from his security vote and when he started resisting her further extortions, the threat to his life and office started.
The Obowo IMC Chairman crying for his life, stated that some of the other councillors were on his side and his life was being threatened.
He called upon Gov Hope Uzodinma to come to his rescue from Lady Love.
It is unfortunate for a Commissioner to exhibit this level of political recklessness and absolute power.
