The Federal High Court sitting in Owerri, has ordered APC/INEC not to replace Dist. Senator Ifeanyi Araraume’s name with that of Mr. Frank Ibezim.
By this ruling, Araraume remains APC Candidate for Imo North (Okigwe Zone) December 5th 2020 bye election.
Ibezim had approached the court with an application for Stay of Execution of the earlier judgement affirming Araraume as the authentic candidate of the party, for the Imo North Bye election.
The court struck out the application, reaffirming Araraume as the candidate of the APC.
