Information reaching Efizzy NG, has it that the Govenror of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodinma has been ordered to Abuja to meet the President.
His summon is believed to be connected with the disunity in Imo APC, his campaign against the party candidate Senator Ifeanyi Araraume, as well as alleged unnecessary acts of witch hunt on APC faithfuls.
It is also believed that his inability to allow duly elected LGA officials of his party, to go back to their offices may be amongst the reasons for his summon.
Uzodinma had earlier attempted to install a candidate for the Senate Bye-election, but Senator Ifeanyi Araraume had kicked Frank Ibezim out through the courts.
Uzodinma have yet to show support and solidarity to the party’s candidate. The situation has become worrisome to the party, as well as the presidency that need Senators more than it needs Govenrors.
