Leaders of Umuoziri community, ably led by Chief Magnus Ibe, and Chief Jesford
Amadi, played an unprecedented host to Rt Hon Henry Nwawuba, member representing Mbaitoli-Ikeduru Federal Constituency, in appreciation of Nwawuba’s donation of a 500kva/33 transformer to their community, Umuoziri, Inyishi.
You may recall that Umuoziri, Inyishi, is one of the communities that recently benefited from Nwawuba’s ongoing transformer distribution project in MBAIKE.
The donation of the transformer to Umuoziri, Inyishi, was Nwawuba’s second intervention in improving electricity supply to the community. The last was Nwawuba’s installation and energization of the existing transformer of the community.
The spokesperson of the community, Chief Jesford Akudinobi, in his remarks poured encomiums on RT Hon Henry Nwawuba for stamping his footprints in most communities in MBAIKE, including Umuoziri, Inyishi.
According to Chief Jesford, “we appreciate Nwawuba’s adequate representation of lMBAIKE”.
A leader of the community, Chief Magnus Ibe, chronicled Nwawuba’s audacious output at the flour of the House of Representative, and his benevolent projects in Umuoziri community, citing construction of classroom blocks in the community’s secondary school, restoration of light in Umuoziri, and a host of others.
According to Chief
Ibe, Nwawuba’s complete representation of Mbaitoli/Ikeduru Federal Constituency ranks second to none in the annals of representation in MBAIKE. To spice his excellent performance in his core mandate of legislation and representation, Nwawuba has also delivered reasonable physical projects in MBAIKE, to the admiration of his constituents, Chief Ibe added.
However, Chief Ibe regretted the mismanagement, and misrepresentation of facts by political scavengers, regarding Nwawuba’s singular effort in installing and energizing the transformer earlier donated by one of the sons of the community.
According to Chief Ibe, the donation of the transformer wouldn’t have given light to Umuoziri without Nwawuba, talking the greater responsibility of putting it to use.
Chief Ibe, thanked Rt Hon Henry Nwawuba, for the good gesture, and urged him to remain committed in offering effective representation to Ndi MBAIKE.
Lastly, leaders of Umuoziri community pledged to reward Nwawuba’s uncommon love for their community with their continued support.
