Mbaitoli Honor Rt Hon Henry Nwawuba

The Federal House of Representatives member representing Mbaitoli and Ikeduru, Rt Hon Henry Nwawuba, was yesterday honored by the 34 Autonomous Communities in Mbaitoli LGA, with an Excellence Award, for his effective and purposeful representation of the people of Mbaitoli and Ikeduru in the National Assembly.

The event, which took place at the Mbaitoli Council Headquarters Nwaorieubi, saw many prominent sons and daughters of Mbaitoli in attendance, to celebrate the lawmaker.

The Award Ceremony was organized by the Leadership of all Autonomous Communities in Mbaitoli, and attracted the attendance of all Traditional Rulers, opinion moulders, religious leaders, women groups, youth groups and the political class cutting across all political platforms. It was a homecoming for all Mbaitoli people.

Speaking during the ceremony, both the Chairman of Mbaitoli Council of Traditional Rulers, HRH Eze George Eke, and the President of all PGs, Prince Vincon Uwakwe Uwandu extolled the humility and political sagacity of Rt. Hon. Henry Nwawuba, which had placed Mbaike in the political map of Nigeria.

They further congratulated him for his emergence, as the Chairman, House of Representatives Legislative Agenda, which makes him a rallying point and driver of the Green Chamber’s Legislative business in the 9th Assembly.
Other speakers at the event, took time to eulogize Rt. Hon. Henry Nwawuba for his sterling performance so far, and pledged their continued support for him, now and in his future aspirations and endeavors.

In his remarks, the Ogbuhuruzo Mbaike thanked the people of Mbaitoli, for finding him worthy of such a prestigious recognition, and promised not to take it for granted.

He renewed his commitment, towards providing effective and efficient representation to the entire Federal Constituency, and assured then to expect more dividends of Democracy, as well as superlative outing this year and beyond.
