Uzodinma v Umeadi: I’m ashamed of being a Lawyer – Lawyer declares

A lawyer, Somadina Tony Ebubedike, have expressed his disappointment with the country’s judicial system, where non lawyers can now judge a case more than the Supreme Court.

Ebubedike made the reaction, on the comment section of a post on Opera News, where the writer was analysing the possible outcome, of the Philip Umeadi suit against Senator Hope Uzodinma.

The Supreme Court had ruled that Uche Nwosu was the authentic winner of the APC, as well as the AA, in the 2019 Govenroship Election.

Nwosu was subsequently disqualified as well as the parties that fielded him.

In another turn of events, the same Supreme Court, will remove the PDP candidate, Rt Hon Emeka Ihedioha, and replace him with Hope Uzodinma, who claimed to be the candidate of the APC.

Umeadi is seeking to get clarity on the two rulings of the Apex Court, and have Hope Uzodinma explain how he became Govenror from a party that was disqualified by the Supreme Court.

The initial ruling by the Apex Court, have gone down as one of its most unpopular rulings in the countries history, a ruling, Ebubedike claims has remained a disgrace to lawyers and a shame, that can never be deleted from the legal history of the nation.
