There are strong indications, that the former Govenror of Kano State, Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso, may be teaming up with former Govenror of Imo State, Senator Rochas Okorocha, in a new political arrangement, to contest the Nigerian Presidency come 2023.
Okorocha had made hint of a new political arrangement, that would move the nation forward, stating that the All Progressives Congress APC, was formed hastily just for the sack of getting power, and not for the good of the nation.
He alluded to the formation of a new political arrangement, which would cut across parties, bringing together Progressives, to move the nation forward.
Speaking to MaaziTV with a plea of anonymity, a close aide to the former Imo Govenror, stated that a Kwankwaso/Okorocha ticket could likely be on the table come 2023, in the new arrangement.
Kwankwaso and Okorocha have both shown interests in the presidency of the nation, and have severally contested in primaries to that regard.
A teaming up of both political heavyweights, who are generally accepted across the country, could present a strong force to reckon with.
Kwankwaso is in the Peoples Democratic Party PDP, while Okorocha is in the APC, even though his future in the party in recent times, have come under serious doubt, as many believe he would likely dump the party for the PDP.
Okorocha has yet to formally name those who are in his new political arrangement, neither has he decided if they would be running with a new Political party, or using an existing party.
