Hope Uzodinma hits Okorocha again, demolish property
Senator Hope Uzodinma led administration has hit former Govenror Rochas Okorocha again, this time, demolishing the fences of his radio station.
Officials of the Innocent Ikpamezie led Owerri Capital Development Authority OCDA, stormed the premises of Reach FM, owned by the Okorocha family, and demolished the fence, claiming it was blocking an access road.
Okorocha and Uzodinma had their first physical confrontation on Sunday 21th day of February, 2021, after months of verbal jabs at each other.
Uzodinma had seized a hotel, owned by the wife of the former Govenror, and Okorocha had made attempt to break into the property. It was a move that ended in violence, with thugs allegedly loyal to Uzodinma, descending on Okorocha, his aides and vehicles, after which, Okorocha was whisked away to the police station with some of his aides and associates.
This latest development, just days after Okorocha’s Arrest, at the orders of Senator Hope Uzodinma, seems to indicate the the physical war between the two political heavyweights is fat from over.
